MBRYONICS is at the forefront of free space optical communications. Our product portfolio covers a wide range of emerging technologies from photonic integrated circuits to advanced optical systems and embedded software solutions. Our optical communications systems are integrated and deployed in satellite communications systems. The work is exciting and challenging and is at the forefront of the technology domains. As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Financial Analyst - to join our group.

What you’ll do
Responsible for the issuing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts to include all
reconciliations, transaction processing, supplier payments, customer receipts and management of the outsourced payroll. 
Ensure timely administration of payments to staff, contractors and suppliers and submission of client invoices.
Support external submissions and reporting to both grant agencies and Investors.
Liaise with auditors at year end and address audit queries.
Weekly bank reconciliations and cash flows preparation.
Ensure tax returns, payroll / VAT are completed and returned on time.
Support the project management team in pulling financial reports and liaising with project
management to complete monthly project reporting.
Support the Senior Financial Accountant and CFO with ad hoc projects, reporting and funding related activities as required.

Who you are
Previous experience in a purchasing or finance role or similar position preferred. 
A degree in Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised individual with proven attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with good excel skills
Experience with account reconciliations.

Working Conditions:
This is an onsite role with standard work hours, 37.5 hour week.
