Alumax Limited is looking for a skilled and dependable bilingual carpenter to join our construction team. The selected candidate will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing a wide range of wooden structures—from structural frameworks to intricate finishings. Key Responsibilities: Assist in assembling, installing, and repairing wooden structures including frames, doors, staircases, and other fixtures Construct, fit, and install custom-built cabinetry, shelving, and skirting boards Carry out maintenance and restoration work on existing wooden structures and fittings Interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints accurately Safely and efficiently operate hand and power carpentry tools Ensure all work meets the required quality standards Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on all worksites Perform both first and second fix carpentry tasks as needed Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and clients Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in carpentry or related trade Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment (desirable) Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions (desirable) Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and proper use of PPE (desirable) Time management and problem-solving skills Speaking mandarin will be a plus Traveling to sites is required
