Retail and Warehouse Count Manager

At RGIS, we partner with some of the world’s largest retailers and logistics companies, and we are now seeking a Retail and Warehouse Count Manager to join our team in Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, problem-solving, and customer service in a role where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities include:

Manage assigned teams during inventories, ensuring events follow RGIS and customer procedures.

Plan, allocate, and deploy resources for each event, ensuring efficient use of staff, time, and technology.

Liaise with customer sites and internal teams to align operational requirements.

Prepare equipment with correct settings, set up networks on-site, and map stores into clear countable areas.

Assess store readiness, address concerns with Store Managers, and escalate if required.

Brief and deploy auditors, monitoring productivity and minimising downtime.

Review and develop stocktaking practices, giving feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Provide excellent customer service, updating Store Managers throughout events.

Deliver training to customer staff on RGIS tablet applications for accuracy checks.

Generate reports to track accuracy, resolve issues, and advise on stock control improvements.

Communicate event progress to RGIS management, escalating when necessary.

Plan wrap-up and exit strategies to reduce travel/waiting costs and ensure proper closure of events.

Maintain housekeeping standards, preventing stock loss or errors.

Complete site-specific Risk Assessments to ensure compliance with RGIS, Health & Safety, and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

Essential:

Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.

Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate multi-site teams.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexible approach to working hours, locations, and methods.

Effective decision-making and problem-solving with a proactive attitude.

Desirable:

Multi-site/field-based experience.

Knowledge of health & safety in retail, warehousing, or logistics.

Familiarity with recruitment legislation.

Full driving licence.

Ability to review and improve inventory/storage practices.

Location of Employment: Dublin office base with travel across East Ireland.

Hours of Work: Min. 39 hrs per week, Sunday to Friday, mainly evenings/nights.

Remuneration: €16.77/hr, minimum annual salary €34,010.
