Job Summary: Are you a passionate and qualified Motor Vehicle Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? Johnson and Perrott Motor Group is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Douglas Road team. Operating from our Douglas Dealership, you'll work in a dynamic environment and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role is offered on a 4-day work week schedule.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:  As a Qualified Motor Technician, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Diagnostic Skills: Thoroughly understanding the latest vehicle technology to diagnose and repair faults effectively, ensuring vehicles are operating at peak performance
Repairs and Servicing: Executing diagnostics, repairs, and servicing with utmost precision, consistently adhering to manufacturer guidelines, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Efficiency and Productivity: Meeting efficiency standards within the aftersales department to maximize productivity and minimize vehicle downtime.
Accurate Documentation: Meticulously completing service documentation in strict compliance with warranty and dealer requirements, ensuring transparent and accountable record-keeping.
Collaborative Approach: Collaborating seamlessly with workshop and dealership colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service and exchange best practices, fostering a strong team environment.
Workshop Maintenance: Upholding workshop cleanliness and practicing proper tool usage to create a safe and organized working environment.
Parts Coordination: Efficiently coordinating with the Parts department to source and acquire necessary components, reducing repair delays.
Vehicle Health Assessment: Conducting comprehensive vehicle health checks to identify additional safety or service requirements, ensuring the overall well-being of the vehicle.
Effective Communication: Promptly notifying Service Advisors when extra work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the agreed-upon timeframe, ensuring clear and timely communication with customers.
Warranty Compliance: Ensuring the proper handling and tagging of warranty-related parts, maintaining adherence to warranty agreements and customer satisfaction.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

Qualification: You should be a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with experience in modern vehicle electronics.
Desire to Learn: A strong desire to continually train and develop your skills.
Team Player: An organized, flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills for effecti
