We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the Preschool and Wobbler rooms, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where everyone can thrive. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of educators in delivering a child-centred curriculum based on Aistear and Síolta. Plan, implement, and review activities that promote all areas of children’s development. Ensure compliance with Tusla and Early Years Regulations. Act as a mandated person under Children First and uphold child safeguarding standards. Build strong, positive relationships with families and support smooth transitions for children. Essential Requirements Minimum Level 6 QQI Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent). At least 2 years’ experience in an early years setting, with proven leadership skills. Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and Children First guidelines. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Garda Vetting and two written references. Desirable Level 7/8 qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field. First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, HACCP. Experience in SEN, inclusion, or behaviour support.
