We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team, working with children from 6 months to 12 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care and education for children in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.

Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Assist with daily routines, observations, and record-keeping in compliance with Tusla requirements.

Work as part of a team to plan and implement engaging activities that meet children’s interests and developmental needs.

Essential Requirements

Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent recognised qualification).

Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Garda Vetting and two written references.

Desirable

Higher qualification (QQI Level 6 or above) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, or HACCP training.

Experience working across different age groups, including babies, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children.
