Job Title: Qualified Automotive Technicians (Diagnostic and General) 
Location: Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan
Employer: Doran Motor Holdings LTD– Multi-Franchise Dealership (Škoda/ Hyundai /Citroën)
Start Date: Immediate

We are a leading multi-franchise automotive group, representing Škoda, Hyundai and Citroën.  Due to rapid growth and industry demand, we are expanding our workshop team and seeking experienced technicians to join our dynamic aftersales department. We offer OEM training and a pathway to long-term career development.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Technicians (Skoda and Hyundai Focus):
Perform advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and complex repairs on Skoda and Hyundai vehicles.
Utilize OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., ODIS, GDS, TechMan) to resolve technical issues.
Address powertrain, ADAS, infotainment, and electrical system faults.
Mentor junior technicians and uphold brand-specific standards.
General Technician (Citroën Focus):
Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs across all brands (Citroën experience preferred).
Train in Citroën systems via accredited courses.
Support diagnostic teams.

All Technicians Will:
Execute daily workshop tasks (servicing, repairs, diagnostics) to meet OEM standards and KPI’s.
Maintain accurate job cards, warranty documentation, and service records.
Adhere to health/safety protocols.
Collaborate with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Essential Requirements:
Qualifications:
Relevant trade certification (e.g., NQF Level 6, QQI Level 6 or equivalent certification).
Diagnostic Techs: 3+ years’ experience with Skoda or Hyundai, including advanced diagnostics.
General Tech: 2+ years’ broad technical experience; Citroën familiarity advantageous.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., VCDS, GDS, DiagBox).
Expertise in engine management, transmission, electrical systems, and hybrid/electric vehicles.
Full and clean driving licence.

Attributes:
Adaptable to new technologies and OEM training.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable Skills
Skoda / Hyundai/ Citroën franchise training.
EV/hybrid system certification.
Experience in multi-brand workshops.
