Are you an experienced vet who loves surgery, enjoys leadership, and is ready for the next step in your career? At Palmerstown Vets, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. Career progression is possible for the right person.
We are one of Dublin’s few remaining independent small animal hospitals, with a caseload of 75% cats and dogs and 25% exotics. With two vets already holding exotic certificates and two more in training, you will see a wide variety of cases that you won’t encounter elsewhere in the city. We are looking for a dog and cat vet mainly. We are happy for you to help with the exotics caseload also, but this is not a requirement.

We are looking for a vet who:
Has a strong surgical foundation (soft tissue, dentistry, comfortable with everyday surgical caseloads)
Is confident with medicine and at least basic ultrasound skills
Leads by example – supporting, motivating, and developing the team
Is proactive, collaborative, and committed to progressing standards of care
Wants to take ownership and contribute to shaping the future of our practice

The role:
Full-time position (flexible working pattern considered)
Senior clinical role with a clear pathway and more responsibility 
Salary €60,000–€80,000, depending on experience
Based in Palmerstown, Dublin, possibility of spending  time at our new second site opening soon.
