The Opportunity

At Sodexo, we believe people and purpose are at the heart of everything we do. As Communications Manager for Ireland, you’ll take the lead on internal and external communications across the island of Ireland, while also contributing to broader communications initiatives within our UK Corporate Services division. This is your chance to join a collaborative, high-performing team, working closely with senior stakeholders and the Irish Managing Director to bring stories to life that inspire, engage, and drive business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Internal Communications:
Design and deliver a compelling internal comms strategy that reaches employees at all levels. From leadership messaging to frontline engagement campaigns, you’ll keep our teams connected and informed.
External Communications:
Drive Sodexo’s visibility and brand reputation across Ireland. You’ll craft powerful content—press releases, case studies, blogs, social posts—and manage our Irish PR agency to amplify our voice in the market.
Crisis & Change Management:
Serve as the communications lead during crisis events and organisational change, ensuring clear, timely and effective messaging.
Strategic Content Creation:
Collaborate with creative and social teams to develop engaging multimedia content that resonates with our diverse audiences.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships across the Irish leadership team, clients, media, and industry bodies to drive influence and opportunity.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years in communications, preferably with internal/employee comms experience.
Proven storytelling skills across digital and traditional platforms.
Strong writing, content creation, and campaign management abilities.
Familiarity with comms tools and platforms (e.g. CMS, intranet, social media).
Resilience, agility, and a collaborative spirit.
A passion for brand, purpose, and engaging storytelling.

Bonus points if you have experience in crisis communications, basic design/video skills, or working in complex/matrixed organisations.
