This role is perfect for anyone working in Conference and Banqueting (C&B) and who wants to move to a role that is Monday - Friday

What you'll do: 

Carry out daily portering duties such as moving furniture, equipment, and supplies between locations.
Follow assigned rotas and complete manual handling tasks as directed.
Set up rooms for meetings or events (e.g., tables, chairs, AV equipment).
Assist with deliveries, stock movements, and general logistics across the site or its locations.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to your Supervisor.
Use manual handling techniques and equipment safely, following training and site procedures.
Wear appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety regulations.
Support other departments within Sodexo when needed to ensure smooth operations.
Be punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and behaviour.
Carry out any reasonable duties requested by the Supervisor or Site Manager.
What you'll bring: 

Previous portering, facilities, or manual handling experience preferred, but not required
Basic understanding of health and safety and manual handling principles (training provided).
Physical fitness and ability to move heavy items safely and efficiently.
Good communication, timekeeping, and a helpful attitude.
Flexible, respectful, and a strong team player.
Experience in corporate, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus.
