Role Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC design, proficiency in AutoCAD (and/or Revit), and a strong understanding of ventilation and air handling systems for commercial or industrial applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop HVAC and ventilation systems for commercial kitchens and buildings. Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform heat load and airflow calculations, equipment selection, and duct sizing. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met. Collaborate with internal teams on product integration and system optimisation. Ensure compliance with relevant Irish, UK, and European standards and regulations. Requirements Degree or diploma in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering (or equivalent). 3+ years of experience in HVAC design or building services. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit or BIM experience advantageous. Strong understanding of ventilation, air filtration, and energy recovery systems. Familiarity with CIBSE / ASHRAE design standards. Excellent communication and technical reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
