Qualified Butcher required for immediate start.  Must have at least 3 years previous experience in the preparation of Beef, Pork and Lamb. Good communication skills and fully compliant with HACCP standard as working in a very modern environment. 40 hrs pw.

Butcher with minimum of 3 years experience


- At least 3 years experience in a butcher skills at retail level/ prepacking.
- Be able to break whole beef, lamb and pork carcasses into cuts for sale at retail and wholesale.
- Be able to converse with customers in English
- A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task under pressure
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An excellent knowledge of butchery cuts
- Beef, pork and lamb boning knowledge
- Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and HACCP compliance
- Live in or be able to reliably commute to Ballybofey daily.
8 hour shift Monday - Saturday with day off during week.

General duties include:

Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Prepare and assist with fresh meat preparation, cutting, displaying and merchandising for counter and prepacking.
No Sunday or bank holiday work.
Following freshness and rotation principles.
