Care Worker Vacancies Permanent Contract for 39 hours per week Minimum annual remuneration will be €31,225.70 (gross) per annum Location: Suamhneas Children's Respite Service, Sligo Town, Sligo Job Purpose The Care Worker will work in conjunction with the Respite Services Manager, and Team Leaders in the delivery of a quality client focused service. They will deliver a service users focused respite service, to children who have intellectual disability, autism, physical disabilities & complex health needs in a person-centered children’s respite service. Implementing and ensuring HIQA regulations and RehabCare standards while overseeing the delivery of a quality, customer focused service. What we’re looking for: • QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care • Full clean driving licence • Candidates should have experience of working in a respite/residential care setting Your Responsibilities • Promote and actively involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user. • Facilitate and implement a person-centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users. • Provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling, ensuring comfort and hygiene of service users and adhering to safe practice and risk assessments at all times.
