Position: Mechanical Fitter Company Name: Grasstec Limited Location: Newtownshandrum, Charleville, Cork, Ireland Salary: €34,000 per year Job type: Fulltime/ Contract Hours per week: 39 hours Email your CV to: dburke@grasstecgroup.com Key Responsibilities • Carrying out mechanical installation and service of all types of pumps, blowers, screens, gearboxes and other mechanical assets • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical plant operations and be able to carry out routine planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance • Clearly identify mechanical faults and identify how to resolve the fault, including identifying parts required • Mechanical and electrical supervision role for onsite works unless otherwise confirmed to you for specific jobs and are responsible for that job been completed in an efficient manner and in the time allocated, without any compromise on health, safety or quality • Completing daily reports where required, clearly identifying works that took place, materials used and time on site Key Requirements • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and manuals • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix mechanical issues • Precision in performing maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Ability to communicate in English language Offer: ● Immediate Start ● Ongoing / Long term work ● Fulltime/ Contract ● Accommodation provided
