The ideal candidate will possess: • A minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Childcare/School Age Care or relevant qualification preferable, not essential. • Previous experience working within the childcare sector would be beneficial but is not required • Leadership and responsibility skills are essential, especially road safety skills • Ability to work well as part of a team • Working knowledge of Child Protection • The ability to plan activities, and implement. Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of information supplied in their CV and will be subject to Garda Vetting. • Excellent communication skills Sample of Responsibilities Include: • Supervising primary school aged children, between the ages of 4-12yrs • Collecting the children from nearby schools via Walking and ensuring road safety is paramount during this time • Assisting children with their homework • Serving food, prepared by our staff, to the children • Listening to the voice of the child and encouraging Child Participation • Adhering to Dreamchasers Policies and Procedures, and all governing regulations • Maintain a good relationship with staff, children, and parents/guardians Benefits Include: • Part-time working hours • Bi-Weekly Pay • Free Parking on site • Annual Leave • Additional Leave during Summer This is a Part-Time position 20hrs a week, Monday - Friday, 1.30-5.30pm
