Location: Ireland Type: Full time, permanent Salary: Based on experience. About the roles We are growing our bodyshop paint team and hiring Spray Painters at both Junior and Senior levels. You will carry out preparation, priming, basecoat, and clearcoat work to manufacturer and insurer standards, delivering a high quality finish on time. What you will do Core duties for all levels Panel prep including sanding, filler work, and priming Masking, mixing paint to formula, and booth spraying with HVLP guns Apply basecoat, clearcoat, blends, and de-nib and polish to finish Use spectrophotometer or camera to support colour matching Complete job cards and quality checks and keep a clean, safe booth and prep area Senior level additional duties Advanced colour matching including pearls, tri-coats, and blends into adjacent panels Plan workflow with estimators and parts to hit targets and KPIs Mentor junior painters and apprentices and carry out final quality sign-off Diagnose paint defects, recommend process improvements, and manage booth maintenance Liaise with paint reps on materials, TDS, and compliance What you need Junior Some bodyshop experience or a refinishing apprenticeship or related qualification in progress Confident with sanding, masking, priming, and basic spraying techniques Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Full clean driving licence preferred Senior 5+ years bodyshop refinishing experience with proven colour matching and blending skills Expert use of HVLP guns, paint mixing systems, spectrophotometer, and polishing equipment Able to read TDS sheets and apply OEM and insurer repair methods Experience with plastic refinishing and SMART repairs is an advantage Full clean driving licence What we offer Structured training, paint manufacturer courses, and clear progression Overtime and potential performance bonus by agreement Modern booths, prep bays, and high quality materials and equipment PPE provided and strong safety culture Work permits in Ireland We welcome applications from candidates who already have the right to work in Ireland.
