The Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing and developing metrics, reports, and data analyses to support and drive key business decisions. Serving as a vital link between raw data and management, the Reporting Analyst’s core responsibilities include data extraction, analysis, and transformation to deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities Data analysis, spotting data trends, performing gap analysis and generating reports. Become knowledgeable about the business deliverable and operational teams. Perform deep-drive analysis and recommend improvements to current business metric collection process. Produce and deliver tracking and reporting for key KPI/SLA’s in the business. Responsible for designing key dashboards and scorecards for Senior Leadership and Business Unit (Team Leaders, Training Team, Quality Analysts, etc.). Create and maintain efficient and secure systems for recording data and producing relevant documentation. Provide high level reports and presentations for Senior Management team. Seek new ways of producing or automating reporting. Maintaining the daily relationship with the business intelligence supplier. Seek opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement within the reporting spectrum. Attend client meetings to explain root-cause analysis and deep dives. Essential Competencies: Analysis: Analysis and documentation of complex business processes Analysis, documentation and development of reporting requirements Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Process with large volumes of data accurately and speedily and deliver to deadlines Problem solving Techniques: Identify and analyze problems, develop solutions Detail-orientated and passion for problem-solving Be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment Project skills: End to end experience of the project lifecycle Ability to define project and scope Communication skills: Interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders Verbally exchange ideas and information in a clear and concise manner in varying forums Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - ability to clearly communicate complex quantitative analysis in actionable insights Personal interaction: Ability to adapt to changing environment Following through on tasks to completion Show leadership in the business in specialized areas Use own expertise to assist others to resolve issues Takes initiative and shows creativity Technical Requirements: good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite Advanced knowledge Tableau Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel is an advantage Desirable: Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL. Desirable but not essential: 2-3 years of experience working in a reporting environment, with proven ability to deliver high quality and accurate reports within demanding timescales
