Catering Assistant – Dublin 8

We’re hiring a Catering Assistant in Dublin 8 to join a busy healthcare facility. It’s a hands-on, rewarding role, where you’ll play an important part in supporting patient care through the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals and drinks to service users and staff.
Assist in the safe, respectful delivery of meals during mealtimes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchens, equipment, and utensils.
Follow HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Support stock rotation and maintain adequate kitchen supplies.
Work collaboratively with catering and support teams to ensure smooth daily service.
Requirements
6–12 months’ experience in catering, kitchens, or hospitality (experience in community or healthcare settings an advantage).
Working knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
Reliable, flexible, and an excellent team player with strong communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
€17.53 per hour
20-hour contract, with shift options: 8:00am–12:00pm or 1:00pm–7:00pm.
Monday to Sunday roster with overtime available.
