Hospital Chef – Dublin 4

We are seeking a Hospital Chef to join a healthcare facility in Dublin 4, delivering freshly prepared meals that support patient care and wellbeing. This is a rewarding position ideal for chefs with experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare facilities, or high-volume catering environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present nutritious meals,  in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines
Lead or support daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and consistency
Follow all HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and cook-chill protocols
Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation
Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergen management
Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning and patient requirements
Maintain a clean, compliant, and organised kitchen environment
Requirements:
QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional chef qualification
Experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering environment
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
Ability to provide 5 years of work references
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts as required
Salary & Benefits:

€20.50/hour, Full time Hours with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays
Day shifts only, Monday to Sunday roster
