Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This position is based with Kildare Wildlife Rescue,  Kildare Town. Post is Maintenance or Animal Carer Report to a team leader. Duties will include Cleaning food dishes, Preparing feed for the animals and feeding animals, Cleaning carriers, move animals from cage to enclosures, Cleaning and organising donations and supply, restocking different areas of the centre. Admission of patients outside of reception hours, progress to triage and clinical examination, keep the work area clean and organised. Maintenance, general maintenance, upkeep of Centre and grounds, including sweeping, weeding, painting, power hosing, DIY, repairs to enclosures and equipment, building fences and enclosures.
