Key aspects of your role will include:
	Deliver high-quality care and assistance in accordance with the care plan, including personal care, hygiene, medication supervision, support with feeding and meal preparation.
	Support the patient in their daily needs, including mobility, movement, transferring, and preparing for examinations and treatments.
	Observe, listen, interact and provide emotional support to patients, promoting well-being and dignity.
	Assist with changing bed linen and maintain a clean, organised and safe environment, in accordance with Health & Safety standards.
	Be punctual, manage time effectively, and report to the company any changes, needs or concerns related to the patient.

Job Requirements:
	1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but not essential.
	Complete at least 2 modules, namely QQI Care Skills and QQI Care of the Older Person, and aim to complete the full QQI qualification within a 3-year timeframe.
	Additional certifications such as First Aid, Manual Handling, and Basic Life Support (BLS) are advantageous.
	Possess a clean Garda Vetting Certificate and, if applicable, an International Police Clearance Certificate.
	Willingness to undergo a medical examination and provide a certificate of medical fitness for work.
	Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
	Demonstrate reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness.
	Understand the importance of GDPR, particularly when working with elderly individuals.
	Fluent in both spoken and written English.
	Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
