Job Description:
Tom Byrne Building Maintenance Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Lift Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair of lifts and other mechanical handling systems in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and servicing of lifts and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
Respond promptly to lift breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and building regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance issues to management.
Assist with the installation, modernisation, and testing of lift systems when required.
Provide excellent customer service and uphold company standards at all times.

Requirements:
Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lift maintenance, repair, or related mechanical work.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and lift operating standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full clean driving licence (preferred).
