IEP - Irish Engineering Products, based in Rathornan, Leighlinbridge, Ireland, R93 C9X0, is looking for experienced welder wanted for manufacturing company (agri machinery). Full time position 39hrs/week - 8.00-16.30 Monday to Friday Hourly Rate €16.80 or €34'000 annually The job entails fabricating parts for agri machinery and tacking parts for main welder, as well as occasionally repairs to agri machinery. Experience and skills: * Ability to read and work from technical drawings to fabricate metal part and assemblies * Experience in MIG welding * Assemble fabricated parts into products using welding, bolting and other methods * Measure and inspect parts/assemblies to ensure accuracy * Use a variety of hand and power tools (grinders, drills, cutting torches etc) and perform routine maintenance/cleaning of equipment and tools. * Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company policies * Communicate with team members and management to ensure timely completion of projects * Identify any fabrication issues and improvements and work with management to address them * Ability to work independently and as team member * Maintain quality control and attention to details on work produced * Manual handling and fork lift certs desirable * Punctual and reliable Annual Remuneration will be €34,000 for 39 Hours per week and 2 years fixed contract.
