Nicolas Krause, located at Dublin, is seeking a Window Fitter. The main responsibilities are: examining drawings and specifications to determine job requirements; scoring plain, coloured, safety and ornamental glass with a hand cutter and breaking off glass by hand or with pliers; smoothing the edges of glass and positioning and securing it in the frame or grooved lead strips; applying mastic, putty or adhesive between the glass and frame and trimming off any excess with a knife; and fixing mirror panels to interior and exterior walls, as well as repairing or replacing broken glass. The individual will provide services at various locations where the company operates. The candidate must have at least 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
