Position: Sous Chef Location: Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland Salary: €17.00 – €19.00 per hour (DOE) + Tips Trial Period: 1-week paid trial (€16/hour) Start date: 01/12/2025 Accommodation: Free during trial; €50/week thereafter Type: Full-Time About the Role An experienced Sous Chef is required for a respected, high-quality restaurant in Kenmare, Co. Kerry. This role suits a hands-on professional who values teamwork, consistency, and high culinary standards. You’ll support the Head Chef in daily operations, lead the kitchen team, and contribute to menu planning and quality control. Requirements Minimum 8–10 years’ professional kitchen experience. At least 2 years in a Sous Chef role. Excellent grill and hot kitchen skills. Leadership ability and calmness under pressure. Full English proficiency and strong communication skills. Two recent references and police clearance required.
