We're looking for a reliable and hardworking 2 Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team and help us care for our herd and maintain smooth farm operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily milking routines and milk harvesting procedures Monitor cow health and report any signs of illness or injury Feed and water livestock, ensuring consistent nutrition and hydration Clean and maintain animal housing areas to uphold hygiene standards Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Support with calving, calf rearing, and general animal husbandry Perform fencing, effluent management, and basic farm repairs Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in dairy or general farm work preferred Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Basic knowledge of dairy farming practices and animal care Ability to work independently and as part of a team Tractor and machinery operation experience is a plus Willingness to learn and follow farm protocols What We Offer Supportive team environment On-the-job training and development opportunities Accommodation options available (if applicable) Opportunity to grow within a thriving agricultural business Remuneration for this job is €34,000.00 per year based on 39 hours per week.
