Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Support the healthcare requirements of the students who attend Scoil Mochua. Preparing the classroom and equipment and teaching materials for lessons.  Reading with student.  
Helping students with difficulties complete tasks.  Working with students to make displays.  Facilitating and encouraging groups of students.  Keeping notes as requested by the class teacher.  Assisting with general classroom administration such as photo copying/laminating/creation of resources.  Taking students who need a movement break, or to carry out a task.  Assisting with practical lessons such as Home Economics Art PE, Construction etc.
