Farm Solutions Recruitment Ltd are seeking a Milking Operations Manager on behalf of our client Artramon Farm Ltd  based in Castlebridge, Co Wexford for a dairy farm.  We are seeking a candidate that has dairy farm experience with the following key responsibilities:  

Actively participate in milking while leading and supervising the team. 

Allocate, coordinate, and assist with daily milking tasks. 

Ensure consistent compliance with all milking protocols and hygiene standards. 

Monitor SCC, TBC, yields, mastitis indicators, and other key performance metrics. 

Manage cow-flow, drafting systems, and parlour throughput. 

Identify, address, and report animal health concerns. 

Oversee and perform hygiene procedures, wash cycles, chemical usage, and regulatory compliance. 

Maintain accurate records for milking, hygiene, equipment, and herd performance. 

Train and support staff in milking protocols, safety, and best practices. 

Monitor parlour equipment performance and coordinate servicing and repairs as required 

Minimum of 39 hours per week, remuneration of €34,000 + performance incentives and bonuses (with potential to increase based on experience). Accommodation provided on the farm.
