Kush Seafarms LTD, a leading producer of premium organic rope-grown mussels and oysters in the pristine waters of Kenmare Bay, is seeking a driven and versatile professional for a unique split-season role that bridges commercial operations, administration, and hands-on aquaculture production.

About the Role
This is a dynamic, full-year position offering a rare blend of office-based responsibilities and practical experience in shellfish farming.

October – April: Logistics
•	Manage customer orders, export logistics, and all associated certification and compliance documentation.
•	Lead the optimization and automation of administrative procedures and workflows.
•	Coordinate closely with production and harvesting teams to ensure alignment with export schedules and transport requirements.
•	Oversee export sales across multiple markets; proficiency in English, Spanish, and French is essential. Italian is considered advantageous.
•	Liaise directly with clients to ensure seamless delivery operations and maintain excellent customer relationships.

April – October: Production
•	Contribute to the continuous improvement of harvesting, grading, and packaging processes across our production lines.
•	Develop practical expertise and technical insight into sustainable aquaculture operations.

Required Qualifications
•	Fluent in French, Spanish, English. Italian an advantage.
•	Master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
•	Engineering degree in a food-industry-related scientific discipline. (Chemistry, Biology, Food, Industrial, other…)
•	Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations and management.
•	At least 1 year of professional experience in logistics.
•	Knowledge of and experience with quality control auditing processes.
•	Minimum of 1 year of experience within the food industry.
•	Proven ability to work independently, proactively, and with strong organisational skills.
•	Excellent physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•	Enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated to continue learning and expanding expertise.

•	Ability to manage export logistics, customer orders, transportation schedules, and certification documents.
•	Strong organisational, workflow optimization, and administrative automation skills.
•	Excellent client communication and relationship-management abilities.
Technical & Operational
•	Understanding of food production processes and quality systems.
•	Capacity to analyze and improve through LEAN methodology shellfish production lines including harvesting, grading, and packaging sections.
