We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plasterer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and apply plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and partitions. Mix and apply different types of plaster, such as bonding, browning, and finishing coats, to achieve smooth or textured finishes. Install and repair plasterboard (drywall) and apply jointing compounds. Apply decorative finishes, such as cornices, mouldings, and ceiling roses, as required. Inspect and prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and applying a primer or bonding agent. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting project specifications and deadlines. Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and procedures. Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, including Carpenters, Bricklayers, and Painters. Required Qualifications and Experience: A recognised trade qualification in Plastering (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Plastering, or equivalent experience). A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role. Proven ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of finish. Excellent knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and safety procedures. Valid Safe Pass card.
