Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The successful applicant will be required to provide service users of Cheshire  with safe and punctual transport. When not driving they will also be responsible for maintenance tasks such as mowing the grass and keeping it in good order throughout the year, trimming and pruning hedges and shrubs in correct season, cleaning the drive and pathways to ensure the safe and hygienic conditions of these surfaces and maintaining the building e.g. painting, decorating, cleaning bins weekly and waste disposal or as required, and ensuring the waste is provided for collection at the correct times and the bins are kept in their place after collection. Applicants must have a full B driving license.
