Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Care taking and the maintenance of Ardattin village duties include :
•	Care and Maintenance of Ardattin Athletics field-Grass cutting,Line marking,Taking bookings.
•	Care taking of Ardattin Parish Hall. Car Parking Management. 
•	Maintain the village of Ardattin and park  – litter picking, sweeping, weeding, flower beds,planting, cutting grass , spraying weeds/moss etc. 
•	Liaise with and assist Ardattin Community Group , helping with and co-ordinate events during the year as required.
•	Comply with Health and Safety and ensure that all users comply with same.  
•	Duties may change from time to time.
