Central Park Nursing Home,Clonberne, Ballinasloe, Co.Galway is currently looking to recruit Health Care Assistants to join our multi-disciplinary team. Interested Candidates must: Be QQI / FETAC Level 5 qualified in Care of the Older Person / Healthcare Support or other accepted qualifications in a relevant healthcare discipline Applicants must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU. Good knowledge of the English language preferable. Job Description Care of Residents Carry out all instructions relating to the direct care of residents, as directed by the Nursing Staff. Support the promotion of equality for all residents. Contribute to the protection and safety of residents at all times. Assist in the ongoing support of residents and others significant to them by enabling residents to maintain their interests, identity and well-being and maintaining contact with those who are significant to them. Support residents in the transition due to changing from one care requirement to another.
