Heco Ventures Limited requires a Shuttering Carpenter for their operations at 3A Iona Crescent, Dublin, Dublin 9, D09 HR90. This is a full-time permanent role for 39 hours per week at a salary of €34,000 per annum (€16.77 per hour). Salary may be higher depending on experience and will increase proportionately where additional hours are required. We are now recruiting for a permanent full-time Shuttering Carpenter. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shuttering Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling and dismantling formwork structures for reinforced concrete works on residential and / or commercial projects. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting timber or formwork panels, setting out shutters to required dimensions, and ensuring the safe placement of reinforcement prior to concrete pours. The ideal candidate must be able to work well within a team, follow site safety procedures, and demonstrate strong practical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Construct, assemble, erect and dismantle shuttering/formwork for walls, columns, beams, slabs and foundations. Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine formwork requirements. Measure, cut, shape and fit timber, plywood or proprietary formwork systems to precise dimensions. Install reinforcement supports, bracing and formwork panels ensuring structural accuracy and stability. Prepare formwork for concrete pours, ensuring surfaces are treated appropriately and all safety checks completed. Assist with placement and compaction of concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes. Inspect formwork for defects, make necessary adjustments and carry out repairs as required. Work closely with site managers, engineers and other trades to coordinate daily tasks and meet project deadlines. Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe use of tools, working at heights and manual handling. Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site. Key Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Shuttering Carpenter or in a similar construction/carpentry role. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong practical skills in measuring, cutting, assembling and installing formwork. Good teamwork, communication skills and ability to follow site instructions. Professional working level of English required. Must be able to work safely, efficiently and meet project deadlines.
