Job Title: Steel Erector Company: Workways Recruitment Limited Location: 27 New Cork Road, Midleton, Co. Cork, P25 K162 Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Erector to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing structural steel frameworks and components on various construction sites across Ireland. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of precision and attention to safety. Responsibilities: Erect and assemble steel frameworks and structures, including beams, columns, and girders Interpret and follow engineering drawings, plans, and specifications Position and align structural components using cranes and other lifting equipment Secure steel components using bolts, rivets, and welding tools Inspect and ensure quality and structural integrity of installed elements Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other construction workers Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Steel Erector or in a similar role. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in construction environments Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
