Little Treasures Playschool        Childcare Practitioner

Role	To support and assist in the provision of the holistic care and development of all the children in this pre-school setting age range from 2 years to 5 years but with focused duties to help and support children with additional needs in our ECCE class room                                                                                                   

Reports to:	The Room Leader/ Manager and work closely with them

To help and support children with additional needs but also work with all children of the class room.
•	Perform a variety of tasks, such as nappy changing, toileting, and engaging in play.
•	To help set goals and document the progress of your key child under the direction and support of the room leader
 Person Specifications
•	Ability to work as part of a team
•	Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children
•	Good Communication and Relating Skills with children, staff and parents, Fluent English. 
•	Have a sense of humour
•	Qualification FETAC Level 5 or above in Childcare.
•	Complete Garda Vetting and References    

Working hours: 9.15am -12.15pm   Monday to Friday
Wages:  €15 per hour, back week applies.
Holidays:  8% holiday pay paid on hours worked. 
Sick Pay:  Statutory sick pay applies.
