HGV Mechanics

Due to further expansion we are hiring 1 HGV mechanic to work on our modern fleet of Scania, DAF & MAN trucks and trailers.

Based within our new, modern workshop in Lusk, Co Dublin

Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking to join a growing, progressive company who has a high level of commitment to safety and service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnostics and repair work on our HGV fleet. Some of your duties will include:
* Servicing and planned safety inspections.
* MOT Preparation.
* Diagnose faults.
* Call out for breakdowns on site and on the road when required.
* Working closely with the team and helping maintain our fleet of Scania, DAF, Man Trucks and refrigerated and flat trailers.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Essential

Be a time-served mechanic
Have previous experience of working on plant machinery and HGV/LGV fleets
Have a full driving licence
Good awareness of health and safety requirements
Desirable

Ability to lift up to 150 pounds
