Motor Mechanic – Full-Time (39 Hours/Week)
Location: Sheaf O’ Wheat Service Station, Bracetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath, A86 F792, Ireland
Salary: Minimum €36,650 per annum

SAU Auto Traders Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our expanding automotive service business. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic workshop environment carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical faults across various vehicle makes and models using advanced diagnostic equipment.

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.

Inspect, repair, and replace engine components, braking systems, suspension, transmission, and other mechanical parts.

Conduct safety, performance, and roadworthiness checks.

Work on hybrid and electric vehicles as needed (training can be provided).

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

Some professional experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar automotive role.

Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems, mechanical components, and service procedures.

Competence in using diagnostic tools and mechanical repair equipment.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

High attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to excellent workmanship.

Preferred: Relevant trade certification in motor mechanics or automotive technology.
