We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join a busy healthcare catering kitchen in Dublin 4, supporting safe, hygienic and efficient food service for patients and staff.

This is a hands-on healthcare kitchen role suited to candidates with experience in high-volume kitchens, hospital catering or food service environments who are seeking daytime shifts, reliable hours and long-term opportunities within healthcare catering.


Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
Wash dishes, cookware and service equipment to support continuous kitchen operations
Assist with basic food preparation including peeling, chopping and portioning
Support ward pantry and beverage station stocking
Record temperatures and assist with HACCP food safety compliance
Follow infection control and hygiene procedures at all times
Work closely with chefs, catering assistants and ward staff to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements
6–12 months’ experience in a kitchen porter, catering assistant or high-volume kitchen role
Healthcare or hospital kitchen experience an advantage
Basic understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting
Ability to provide 5 years of verifiable work references
Reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Salary & Benefits
€17.53 per hour
Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Daytime shifts only, typically 7:00am–6:30pm
Monday–Sunday roster depending on service requirements
