Midland Engineering Ltd based in Templemichael Industrial Estate, Ballinalee Road, Longford, N39 C5Y9 are seeking to recruit experienced Welders to join our growing team.

Responsibilities of the job include - 
Interpretating blueprints and specifications accurately: Understanding our project requirements and materials to ensure proper welding methods are used.
Operating welding equipment: Using tools such as arc welders, TIG welders, or MIG welders to join metals like steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
Inspecting welded surfaces: Ensuring the integrity and strength of welded joints by performing quality checks in line with industry standards. 
Performing maintenance: Repairing and maintaining welding equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, organised and skilled individual with attention to detail and a quality orientated mindset.  
Knowledge of or previous experience within the Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries would be beneficial, specifically relating to the supply of Stainless-Steel products.
Knowledge of metallurgy, various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding is required.
Technical Welding Qualifications would be an advantage. 

Hours of Work - 39 hours a week
Annual Salary - €36,605
