Job Description – Plasterer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plasterer to carry out high-quality plastering and finishing works on construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying plaster and related materials, and ensuring all finishes meet company standards, project specifications, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for plastering by cleaning, levelling, and applying bonding agents as required.

Apply plaster, render, and finishing coats to internal and external surfaces to a high standard.

Install and finish plasterboard, including taping, jointing, and skimming.

Repair and refurbish existing plasterwork as required.

Read and work from drawings, plans, and specifications.

Ensure all work is completed in line with project timelines and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Use tools, equipment, and materials safely and correctly.

Work independently or as part of a site team, coordinating with supervisors and other trades.

Report any defects, issues, or material requirements to site management.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar skilled trade role.

Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and finishes.

Ability to carry out high-quality finishing work with attention to detail.

Good understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.

Ability to work from drawings and instructions.

Reliable, punctual, and capable of working to deadlines.
