Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

To ensure all necessary provisions are  in stock for staff on a daily basis. This includes: food/snacks/accompaniments/ nappies/wipes/nappy bags, gloves, spray bottles with only D10 spray/bins liners/washing up liquids/dishwasher & clothes washing liquids/hand soaps, paper towels.
Ensure kitchen areas, crockery, cutlery, fridges, microwaves, toasters, cupboards, worktops, floors etc. are clean and always kept to the highest standard of hygiene.

Clean Cot Rooms and check on a regular basis to ensure child’s safety and comfort.

Sweep and wipe floors when necessary after snack and dinner times to ensure no food is left on floors particularly in babies/wobbler rooms.
