Maryfield Nursing home is looking for an experienced enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to work full-time.

Principal Tasks & Accountability 

Underpinning all of the following is the requirement that the following tasks are conducted and completed in an effective and proficient manner that protects the dignity of each patient/resident and supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of Maryfield Nursing Home Services at all times. 
Direct Patient Care 
Wash patients in bed shower or bath as required. 
Making beds. 
Help patients/residents to dress. Lift, move, turn, re-position patients, using the appropriate equipment at all times. 
patients in toilets, on commodes and in bathrooms and assist with appropriate hygiene.
And we are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Maryfield Nursing Home. 
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistants to be an active part of a committed multidisciplinary team. 

Person Specification: 

The successful candidate will have completed a QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent and will have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
