Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Maintaining the condition and appearance of the lawns in and around the yard. 
Clean the graves
Keeping all outdoor ground areas free from snow or ice (when needed).
Keeping facilities and the surrounding area free from litter, debris, etc.

Requirements:  
• Operate equipment, e.g., lawn mowers, strimmers, line markers
• Use of hand tools, e.g., rake, spades, etc. 
• Follow applicable safety guidelines and procedures
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work on own initiative
