Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Trainee Youth & Family Worker CE Scheme. 

Job Description:  
This post is a developmental opportunity and no experience is necessary.  Accredited training will be provided to support your career.  Previous experience or training in a similar role is welcomed.   
 
Responsibilities: 
•	To support the Family & Child Team, Youth Work Team and Youth Justice team in planning and developing 
        programmes for young people 
•	To support the facilitation of various educational and recreational groups  
•	To participate in seasonal programmes such as the Summer programme 
•	To attend weekly team meetings 
•	To work in a professional and objective manner with individuals accessing the service. 
 
 Start Date: Pending Garda Vetting. 	 
Hours per week: 19.5hrs. 	 	 
Contract Type: 1 year contract.  	 	
Number of positions: 1.  	 
Salary: CE Rates.
