Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties: Assist in the daily preparation and serving of beverages, lunches and afternoon teas to the elderly clients; assist in the set up of the Activities Rooms and Dining Rooms; assist with cleaning, vacuuming and washing floors in the Centre's rooms/toilets/hallways. A strong focus on health and safety in the workplace and high standards of hygiene required.  Afternoon working hours. 
This position is based at the Clonmel Day Care Centre for the Elderly, Irishtown, Clonmel.
Garda Vetting required.
