Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Van Driver:

Clean Driving Licence required.

Duties:
Delivery and collections of goods; 
Assist in the distribution of goods to food banks, hubs and other organizations;
Assist in receiving of goods in the warehouse - unloading trucks and checking in merchandise;
Assist in the collection and distribution of goods to the Mid West Simon shop; 
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area;
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards;
Open bales, crates and other containers;
Maintains inventory controls;
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat - sweep, dust and mop;
Wear the proper safety equipment;
Comply with all training requirements;
All general works associated with the operation of the food distribution service.
