Carlow, R21 K462, Ireland Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed Term 2 years Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday Annual Salary: €34,000 per annum Number of Positions: 1 Job Overview A & W Trailers Limited is an established Irish manufacturer supplying trailers to the agricultural and construction sectors. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our production team at our Co. Carlow facility. The successful candidates will be involved in the fabrication, welding, assembly, and repair of metal components and structures, working to engineering drawings and company quality standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Cut, fabricate, and assemble metal components using appropriate welding equipment (including electric arc and gas welding) • Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings • Assemble mechanical structures and parts with precision • Weld metal components to a high standard • Repair metal structures of various sizes • Inspect completed work to ensure conformity with specifications • Maintain and carry out basic repairs on machinery and tools • Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control procedures Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required Essential: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in welding and metal fabrication • Ability to read and understand technical drawings • Experience operating welding and fabrication equipment • Strong attention to detail and workmanship Personal Attributes: • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Positive attitude and strong work ethic How to Apply Please submit your CV to: awtrailersltd@gmail.com
