Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Administration Support i.e. booking rooms, setting appointments, sending therapy programmes to 
        Service Users
•	Assist with therapy sessions either group sessions or 1:1 as required & directed by therapists
•	Responsible for specific record keeping & data collection during therapy sessions
•	Ensuring that all therapy equipment is labelled, sanitized and stored appropriately
•	Set up & clean up therapy rooms pre & post therapy sessions
•	Carry out exercise programs as directed by the therapist
•	Assist with serial casting sessions as required
•	Any other duties are required and directed by the therapists
•	Ideal placement for anyone considering full time Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy 
        Physiotherapy and Therapy Assistant training courses.
