Aureol Global Connections is hiring experienced Site Engineers, specialising in road surfacing, on behalf of Colas Contracting Limited, located at Bluebell Industrial Estate, Bluebell Avenue, Dublin 12, Dublin D12 DR4R and Deerpark Industrial Estate, Oranmore, Co. Galway, H91 D934 and Colas Contracting Kilcolgan Depot, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway,H91 P039. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising surface dressing works, including micro asphalt and cold mixes, on local and regional roads, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, to specification, on time, and within budget. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings and project specifications, carrying out site inspections and surveys, managing multiple sites, and working closely with site foremen, contractors, suppliers, and clients. Key duties include quality control and assurance testing, maintaining site records and progress reports, ordering and scheduling materials, compiling post–surface dressing records, providing measurements for invoicing, and ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards through audits, toolbox talks, task briefings, and SSWPs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality road surfacing projects.
